Glue sticks or glue bottles
Directions for Piet Mondrian Art:
Before the kids came, I cut the black construction paper into thin strips. When the kids arrived, they completed this project in two steps. First, the kids can glue the strips onto the canvas boards. They can glue them wherever they want. Second, the kids can paint the boards. Older preschoolers may paint the separated shapes they made with the black paper and toddlers may just paint all over the canvas. Either is wonderful!
And that’s it! Those are your Piet Mondrian inspired art pieces!
