How to create art using recycled items
What you need:
- Paper
- Washable paint
- Recycled items or other items lying around (We used plastic lids, a clamp, a fork, a bottle, etc.)
What to do:
- First, gather the recycled items you’d like to use as your “paintbrushes.”
- Pour the paint out. We love to use washable tempera paint.
- Encourage the kids to use the recycled items to put the paint on the paper. They can stamp, roll, twist, etc. And they can try using the items different ways. Let the kids explore for a process art experience!
